Consultation in the case of conflict between business partners

A commercial security organization has contacted the company to support the issue of dispute resolution with two business partners who cannot determine who will be engaged in the main business in the current dispute and, accordingly, continue cooperation with our client.

Once upon a time, the couple organized a business selling goods over the Internet. We have created our own marketplace. In the process of work, facilities and warehouses were built. Business processes were being built.

As often happens, the business was divided between the spouses for the convenience of operating activities: some companies were owned by the spouse, some by the spouse.

But at one point, family life became impossible. The couple decided to separate. But what to do with the business has not been determined. As a result, a corporate conflict has matured from a family conflict. And those who are not directly related to business began to suffer from it.

A security organization that protects the warehouses of the specified marketplace contacted our company with the question: which of the former spouses (their companies) do you need to work with now? The dilemma was that the owner of the real estate objects (land, etc.) was the spouse's company, and the contractor (developer) on these objects was the spouse's company. This means that all contracts (including security ones) were signed by the latter and the instructions should be followed by the developer company. But in such a situation, the owner cannot go to his own facility. The situation seems absurd. Our lawyers had to deal with it.

During consultations, negotiations and meetings, a strategy for overcoming the current situation was developed, clear recommendations were given to owners of the security business. In the future, there is still a long and difficult work to implement this plan.
